Such a special day when it’s shared with others. Grandparents day was filled with laughter and joy.

This year’s “Happy Birthday, Jesus” celebration in Room 2 was filled with joy and family. We were delighted to have families join us for crafts in our classroom, where parents and children worked together to decorate snowflake and manger ornaments.
The children then performed two beautiful songs, “We’re Looking for a King” and “What a Glorious Night,” beautifully capturing the true meaning of Christmas. They did an amazing job!
A heartfelt thank you to all the families who made this event so special, and a special thanks to our room mom and parent volunteers! We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year filled with love, peace, and joy.

This year’s Grandparents Day in Room 2 was a truly special celebration filled with love and joy. The children were thrilled to have their grandparents join them, and their smiles said it all. The highlight of the day was their performance of What a Glorious Night. The children sang with enthusiasm, and the grandparents beamed with joy! It was so sweet to have the grandparents visit our classroom after.
Thank you to all the grandparents who came and made the day so special — your presence was a gift that the children will treasure forever! Here’s to many more wonderful memories shared with those who hold such a special place in our hearts!

We have a Preschool tradition of making Stone soup each year and even though we don’t always add the stone we still have the most important ingredient. Sharing.
Here is a slideshow of what we did for those two days!
Thank you all for donating both the ingredients and for your time. The class loved having all of our parent volunteers and everything that was brought for our special celebration.
We also wrapped up the week with the annual pumpkin drop. As one of the oldest classes on the preschool side we got to help clean up and keep some of the seeds from the drop. It really was a fun and full week.

Happy holidays and seasons blessings always,
Toddler Teachers

On November 22, rooms 1 ,2 and 3 went to a farm! It was a beautiful day and all the families were amazing! Underwood’s farm provided an educational and hands on experience.
We watched a couple shows about fruits/ vegetables and animals.
Room 1 got to go on their own tractor out to the fields, and once there we picked crops
Family photos!

Everyone had fun on the tractor all stuffed together! We picked kale, lettuce and wax beans.
After refueling all the families went to feed the animals and play around the farm.
What a relaxing day.
The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The Lord your God will bless you in the land. – Deuteronomy 28:8
We hope everyone had a pleasant Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends! Last week, we helped the children prepare for Thanksgiving by teaching them about community, gratitude, and sharing! We read books, did art projects, and listened to music all conveniently paralleled with the Thanksgiving theme.
We read different variations of Stone Soup every day to the children to get them ready for our stone soup days here at the preschool. We also enjoyed the help of our junior chefs chopping vegetables, which not only taught them community but also helped them work on fine motor development. Don’t worry, we used very dull butter knives and parboiled vegetables 😃.
We also did different kinds of art projects with our tiny Picasso’s and they gave us a hand (see what I did there?) to the turkey bulletin board in the classroom, which proudly displayed what they were thankful for. They also made turkey centerpieces to take home for the whole family to enjoy over the holiday.
Another fun thing we did to get the children’s bellies ready for food in abundance was sing a song by Danny Go as a transition song into lunchtime. The song also helped them with listening skills and movement. Here’s a link to the song: https://youtu.be/6HM28d04LQk?si=e3za8JD5DPSFnxsa.
All in all, everyone enjoyed the penultimate month of the year and learned a lot about kindness, serving one another, and sharing our time and love with each other. Thanks for all of your help and support. Chef’s kiss, and God bless!
