The Last Day

The last day of summer came so quickly and while we thought we knew it was coming we weren’t emotionally ready to say goodbye.

We played outside and we had popsicles to celebrate a birthday! We all stayed close together on our last day. There were lots of hugs and love.
We watched Bluey and ate Pirates Booty and hugged the teachers sooo many times. We had our last morning meeting and did the final Donut Shop to snack.
We watched a little more Bluey in the afternoon. It’s everyone’s new favorite show!

Thank you all for a great summer and even though we didn’t get to go on field trips we still had so much fun with each other! We wish all of our students a fun and relaxing break and a fantastic start to the new school year! We love you all.

Week 7 & 8: Sailing Away. . .

The summer is drawing to a close and it feels like it went too quickly!! We tried to go out with a bang and make as many happy memories as we possibly could. Here are a few photos of those memories.

We had popsicles and Pirates Booty on Wednesday and Thursday of the last week! No complaints about either. 😁
The last Pump and Splash! We all got so wet. Apparently if you tell children they can throw water at you they will do so with gusto!
Slow slide is a big hit with Room 3 friends. I go down the slide as slowly as possible and they all go down with me. Such a silly game that they seem to love.

Summer Sails Away

The final week of our Fun in the Sun program has been a blast! We’ve been hard at work creating seashell art, pumpin’ and splashing, enjoying snow cones, singing fun VBS songs to the Lord, and of course, building friendships and memories that will last even after summer sails away! Check out some fun highlights from our final week together. We look forward to seeing you and your little ones in August for an exciting new school year!

SUMMER FUN SEVENTH WEEK

This week has been a loud week, hehehe! We took out different kids of instruments maracas, tambourines, guiros, bells and coffee cans to use as drums and of course the musicians. Oh, boy! They had a great time shaking, tapping and playing different tunes. The kids loved it.

The kids are always open and willing to try new stuff.

Snow cone, snow cone, I want a snow cone? I am telling you the kids loved Tuesdays.

Playing in the sand is always a favorite in our class too. They specially enjoy it when is wet and they can mold it or can creat different things such as cake, soup or a drink for their favorite teacher.

LAST WEEK OF SUMMER

We can’t believe we are saying goodbye to all of our Room 4 kids! It has been a blessing and such a great pleasure having all of them in our care. Most of our friends have been with us since August 2020, while some came to us just this summer. It is our hope and pray that God would continue to bless all of our families in their adventure over the next school year. We will especially be praying for all those families who will be traveling during our time apart. Thanks for a wonderful summer!

Our last Pop Up Verse for this week is: “Then I hear the Lord’s voice saying, ’whom should I send, and who will go for us? I said, “I’m here; send me.” Isaiah6:8

Wave Word: God sends

Week 6! The Pirate Pals

This week was our Pirate week! We looked for treasure in the quarry and ran from sharks in the structure area. We wore our best Pirate clothes and had fun!

Snow Cones are always well loved 🥰!
We love playing with each other and building and creating. On Wednesday we celebrated a birthday (Mine!) and we had popsicles. Thanks for celebrating with me everyone! 💕
Thursday was our official Pirate Party day! There were so many awesome Pirate outfits!
It was so hot we had popsicles in the afternoon as well.
Mr. Tim came and read us some Pirate stories while we ate afternoon snack.
Today our internet wasn’t working so we didn’t get to watch Jake and the Never Land Pirates. Instead we watched Where the Wild Things Are, Goodnight Gorilla and a Mickey Mouse short as well as a couple of music videos from chapel songs.

SIX WEEKS OF SUMMER FUN

Six fun weeks have passed and the kids are looking forward to what is to come the next day. As you may know the big yard has been split into two sections this school year, because of CIVID.

One section is divided where the kids can use and enjoy the bikes, dig in the sand and do many diferent fun water activities.

The other section is divided at the wood chips where the kids can enjoy climbing on the structure, use the contraction zone, plant or water the garden, use the manipulative tables and use the water tables for the kids to keep cool. Every week we rotate the use of the yard with class room #5. The kids are now familiar with the schedules.

Lots of fun things happen inside our class room and outside. Ms. Kristen enthusiastically plans and sets up incredible and amazing patio.
