The classroom has shifted into something quite magical — we have reached a standstill, an eery calm. The students know what is expected of them, and their execution of these expectations has (nearly) become second nature. Hark, we have become a well-oiled machine!
We look forward, our eyes set on the rest of the Fall season: Apple & Pumpkin Days (with treats), Stone Soup Day (also Thanksgiving), and Happy Birthday Jesus (singing in harmony on stage with synchronized hand movements).
Here are some pictures from October, please take a glance.

All of these disjointed photos are from various places around our little planet. Some are taken out on Ms. Liah’s patio, others out on the pavement of the preschool parking lot where the police officers gave their presentation on general safety, and others on Ms. Gwen’s yard.
Don’t forget to ask your child:
- What number do we call in an emergency?
- What do the police help with?
- How do we stay safe on Halloween night?
- Bring a flashlight
- Don’t run ahead
- Never go inside a strangers house. The police officers said: “If they are nice, they will bring candy to or leave it at the door.”
- Non-questions include:
- Always wear a seat belt
- Remind parents that holding a phone while driving is extremely dangerous
- We never call 9-1-1 unless it is an emergency
