We had a blast at our Valentine’s Parties in Room 3! From DIY yogurt parfaits to heart-themed crafts, the kids stayed busy sharing the love.
Highlights included a cozy storytime and the excitement of our “mailbox” delivery where everyone handed out their goodies. Check out the photos below to see our little Valentines in action! 🍫
Thank you to all the parents who helped make the parties so special. We love our preschool family! 💌

January has been a month full of fun activities. We’ve been rotating between songs and stories about the snow and the farm to prepare the children for what’s to come. We also have done some practice laps to get them ready for the fun run.
We talked about hay, animal sounds, and did different animal movement songs to get ready for the farm. The children went on a hay ride, learned about and picked fruits and veggies, and fed different farm animals.
The snow days were packed with fun building snowmen, sledding down a snow hill, making snow angels and gentle snowball fights.

“SNOW DAYS AT PCS, FUN!”

Thank you to all the grandparents for attending this special day dedicated to you. The event has been a tradition for the last two decades and every year is filled with special memories. Thank you for your company, your love and support for these amazing children who shine bright. We pray that God will bless all of you and bless you insensibly.

Stone soup is a classic folk story that teaches the value of cooperation and generosity. In the story, a hungry traveler arrives at a village, and seeing that everyone is hesitant to share their food, he cleverly boils a simple stone in a pot of water, claiming it’s a delicious stone soup. Curious villagers contribute ingredients to enhance the soup, and together, they create a hearty meal. The story highlights how individual contributions, no matter how small, can come together to benefit the whole community. It’s a wonderful way to illustrate the importance of teamwork, sharing, and the idea that everyone’s participation can make something special.
The children in Room 3 all brought an ingredient and saw the bounty grow on our stone soup. We enjoyed eating it all up these past 2 days. A huge thank you to all the parents that came in to help the children cut veggies and make the soup.

Two enjoyable days for our mini chefs, we made apple pie in a cup for Thursday and pumpkin pie in a cup for Friday. OOOH, Lala!

A
What a great way to end the month of October!!!!!!!!

Using our five senses, taste, smell, touch, hear, and sight with all different kinds of apples.

The kiddos assembled their special snack, starting with half a graham cracker. Next, they spread a vibrant blue frosting and then crowned it with one Swedish Fish—mmm, mmm, mmm!

It is week two of our summer program, and the children in Class #3 have already begun to adjust and feel at home in their new environment. It didn’t take long for them to become comfortable with the classroom and their new teachers. They are having a great time exploring their creativity through art activities and water play. One of the biggest highlights in the class has been the loft, which the kids are thoroughly enjoying. It’s been a fun and exciting start to the summer!

It is always fun to hear Mr. Tim play the ukulele, sing, and lead us in worship. So far, we’ve had two Bible lessons with him. The first was about Noah, where we learned Psalm 139:1 and sang “Wherever I Go” and “Always.” The second lesson was about Jonah, focusing on 1 John 5:15, and we sang “O the Deep, Deep Sea.” Mr. Tim makes learning about God exciting and joyful through music and stories.

What a Blessed School Year!
God truly showered us with blessings throughout this school year. We learned so much from one another, and as the days went by, our kiddos continued to bless us with joy, laughter, and the sweetest hugs.
Words cannot fully express the love we felt from each of our students and the incredible kindness and support from our parents. Your care made a lasting impact on our classroom community.
We enjoyed so many fun activities together, explored new learning techniques, and built strong language skills. But above all, we grew in love, respect, and connection with each other.
Thank you all for being such a meaningful part of this journey!
