Fun in the Sun! Week 5

Our first week of Second Session has been a blast! We’ve been flying high with so many exciting things to do at camp. Whether it’s splashing in water play, singing in Chapel, or playing in our classrooms, there is always something fun to see, hear, touch and experience. It was especially exciting to finish out our week with a full camp bird show in the auditorium. We can hardly wait to see what God has in store for us next week.

Fun in the Sun! Week 4

Pump and Splash

What a week we’ve had here at camp! While the nation celebrated it’s independence, we all celebrated the final week of our first summer session. Our first four weeks of summer may have flown by but we will remember the fantastic times we’ve had together. We will especially recall the fun of our Pump and Splash day with temperatures hitting 113 degrees. God knew we’d need water play to deal with the heat and as always, He provided. The popsiclies also helped keeps us cool too.

Fun in the Sun! Week 3

God has blessed us with another extraordinary week of fun filled adventure here at summer camp. We successfully made it through our first field trip to the Aquarium of the Pacific and marveled at our Mad Science Show, Fire and Ice. We would like to thank all the parent drivers and chaperones for making our field trip to the aquarium possible. The kids had an outstanding time diving into the deep sea world of ocean life.

Fun in the Sun! Week 2

Week 2 has been a blast!! This week we heard the Parable of the Lost Sheep in Chapel and rocked out to awesome worship songs like Following Jesus. We all enjoyed splashing in the water and devouring delicious snow cones as well as creating amazing art, cooking projects, and so much more. The culmination of our week together was the Amazing Dave magic show. Amazing Dave was wildly entertaining and we can hardly wait to see what happens next.

All Aboard! Rm 3’s Gold Line Train Trip

Another year of trains, travel, and three-year-olds! We had a fantastic time going on this years Gold Line Trip to Union Station. The children were thrilled be out in the world and riding on a real train. Union Station was, as always, beautiful and we also enjoyed walking over to take a look at the oldest house in LA, Avila Adobe in Olvera Street. We would like to thank all the parents who made this adventure possible by driving and chaperoning us. We have been learning so much about trains and train stations so it was fantastic to see them in person.

Taking a Trip on our Train…

We have been having a fantastic time in Room 3 and are so excited to once again be studying trains. Trains and three-year-olds go together like macaroni and cheese. This year’s class was so excited to take our traditional Gold Line trip. We would like to give a special thanks to all the parents who participated and made this trip possible. It’s full steam ahead and we can’t wait to see where trains will take us this next!
