So you might be wondering what the children do after their hour-long adventure on the playground, but rest assured that their day is full of fun activities. Once the clock strikes 10, Room 3 ventures back inside the classroom to sing songs, read many different books and more during Morning Meeting. However, the excitement doesn’t stop there…but let us leave that for another blog post.

Art time with Room 3!
Room 3 along with the other rooms at school have been exploring their creative minds with Ms. Monica the past couple of weeks. During their time with Ms. Monica, the children have a blast unleashing their inner creativity through the different art activities that are planned for them. As the year goes on, the children will explore different ways to use their creative minds to create art pieces that allow us to take a peek at their vast imagination.
Welcome to Room 3!
Welcome to Room 3! It’s the end of the first week of school and the fun has just only begun. As the children become accustomed to their new environment, their willingness to have fun and explore their room and school will begin to surface. Right now, the children are enjoying the myriad of activities and toys inside the classroom and outside. Please look forward to the other exciting activities and events that we have in store for the children as the year goes on.
Under the Big Blue Sea
The children in Room 3 had an amazing time this week. From activities such as water play with sprinklers and buckets to our fantastically yogurt filled field trip, the children had very little time to not be excited. Our Chapel this week was about how God calms and it was presented by none other than our very own Room five teachers. Last but not least, we ended the week with an awesome pizza party. There’s only one more week left so let’s hope for smooth sailing.
Story time at the Monrovia Library
Today Room 2 and Room 3 took a fun filled trip to the Monrovia Library for a special storytime. We got to sing lots of songs and read fun books like Bad Dog Max! and Stretch. We also got to dance and play with bubbles!

After all our great stories we went to the playground right next to the library and had a great time with all of the play structures.
Climbing is so much fun!

After we played for awhile we sat down and had a wonderful picnic lunch and when we were finished with our food we all got to have frozen yogurt from Yogurtland!

We finished up our delicious frozen treat and then played in the park a little more. We had foot races and played lots of little games in the park with Room 2 and Room 3 friends.
We had a great time and we want to thank all the wonderful parents for chaperoning our field trip! We couldn’t do it without you!
Reptacular Friday!
Room 3 had an amazing time during safari week. Everything from the water play to the “Jungle Book” movie to the reptacular animal show was amazing. To add to all the excitement, the Room 3 teachers had the pleasure of leading Chapel this week. The topic was the Baptism of Jesus. To end the week, the children were able to look at and pet different exotic animals; in addition, they were able to enjoy pizza during lunch!
Derby Madness!!
Although the week was short, it was still packed with tons of fun and excitement for both children and teachers alike! During our derby madness, we enjoyed activities such as water play in pools on the big field, going to Chapel, making ice cream and having our very own petting zoo! Consisting of an alpaca, a goat, chickens, bunnies and ducks, the petting zoo was an awe-inspiring activity that the children loved.
Piñata FFFIIIEESSSSTTAAA!
It’s the second to last day of fiesta week and what better thing to do than bust open some piñatas. The children could barely contain themselves when they found out they were going to open up a piñata and collect some toys and candy. As an added challenge and element of fun, the children were blind folded when they stepped up to bat. The only excitement level was surreal, especially when they heard Mr. Timmy was going to hit piñata as well. Worry not though! An end to fiesta week means the beginning of another party in the following weeks.
A Fabulous Second Week of Summer Fun!
The children had a blast during their second week of summer camp. Their excitement was evoked by numerous different activities such as art, water play and the ever so sought after bouncy house. That wasn’t all though, we also had the pleasure of having a dancer come on campus and show us the delight that is Armenian folk dancing. Overall the children enjoyed our Noah’s Ark themed week. Now the question is, how much more fun can they have during Island Paradise?
