Our friends have been enjoying a BearyLovely Tea Party on the older pod patio. We are getting the most out of our playtime by using our imagination, practicing important social-emotional skills and developing language.
How unbearably sweet to see our friends care for their teddy bears in such loving ways.
“Let all that you do be done in love.” 1 Corinthians 16:14
The last two days before Christmas break were so much fun and we have the pictures to prove it!
We got hot cocoa with marshmallows and a little candy cane spoon! We watched How the Grinch Stole Christmas and ate popcorn. And on Wednesday we did it all over again!
We watched Frosty the Snowman.
Then we had dance parties until it was time to go home.
This week has been full of fun activities and projects. Here are a few photos of all the things we have done!
This week Ms. Daisy made gingerbread with the class. They got to pick their shapes and use cookie cutters. After the cookies baked they got to decorate them and eat them! What a special treat! 😋Ms. Daisy dressed up as the Gingerbread Girl on Wednesday.Mr. Tim also came into our class two days in a row and read How the Grinch Stole Christmas! Thank you Mr. Tim for the wonderful rendition! 😁
Then we had a school wide chapel where we heard again the story about baby Jesus and why we celebrate his birthday and we also got to sing some fun songs as well!
Joy to the World!
It’s been a fun week and we look forward to the rest of the Christmas season!
Next week will be just as much fun and even though it be short it will be jam packed!
Please look forward to the upcoming pajama and cocoa days and we will probably watch a Christmas movie or two 😉.
Thank you all for helping this week be a success and so much fun for our class!

December 9th we celebrated Grandparents Day! The Children enjoyed showing off their classroom to the Grandparents and then sang Christmas songs! The children were delighted to see their special visitors and had such a great time. Thank you to all who took the time to come visit!
We did it! Thank you to our FIFTEEN generous donors we were able to raise $1,275 to purchase a beautiful, long-lasting, outdoor sensory table from Community Playthings. Our older pod friends are currently enjoying their new table along with some festive-fall pumpkin exploration.
Almost a week ago we celebrated Apple Pumpkin Days! We made special snacks and made some art. Here are some photos of all the fun!
The class made apple pie in a cup! We made apple prints and put apple stickers on a tree
The second day was pumpkin day and it was so much fun!
We got to mix our pumpkin spice pancake batter! Ms. Daisy even has a song for mixing. Snack time was pancakes with syrup and some whipped cream and Ms. Daisy shared her pumpkin butter with the class! It was so good the class asked for more in the afternoon. Outside we watched Ms. Gwendolyn carve a pumpkin. We decorated our classroom pumpkins with paper and made our own pumpkin pie ( for a craft).
Apple Pumpkin Days went well and we enjoyed both days! Thank you to all the parents who volunteered and donated items. The children (and teachers 😁) enjoyed it all!
