This past week in small groups, we conducted a color eruption experiment.
Our tiny scientists practiced using pipettes to transfer liquid to a mixture of baking soda and food coloring. They made observations, verbalized predictions, and initiated a chemical reaction–AN ERUPTION!
The outcome of this experiment was validated in “WOW”s and excited screams!
