β€œSUMMER SESSION #2”

β€œPIRATE DAY”
The children crafted pirate hats, treasure maps, and telescopes, adorning them with shiny sequins, rings, and coins.
β€œOCEAN SPECIAL SNACK”

The kiddos assembled their special snack, starting with half a graham cracker. Next, they spread a vibrant blue frosting and then crowned it with one Swedish Fishβ€”mmm, mmm, mmm!

β€œSCIENCE”

We’ve had such a fun and educational time in preschool lately, diving into activities that help our little learners grow! For math skills, we’ve been observing just how big our “grow creatures” grew, giving the children a hands-on way to explore measurement and comparison. It’s wonderful to see their excitement as they watch things change and get bigger! To sharpen their fine motor skills and spark creativity, we also enjoyed a fantastic art project: “Fish in a Bowl”. Using stickers and markers, the children created their own vibrant underwater scenes, which is not only fun but also excellent for developing their hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity. We’re always finding new ways to make learning an engaging adventure!

β€œSUMMER IS HERE”

It is week two of our summer program, and the children in Class #3 have already begun to adjust and feel at home in their new environment. It didn’t take long for them to become comfortable with the classroom and their new teachers. They are having a great time exploring their creativity through art activities and water play. One of the biggest highlights in the class has been the loft, which the kids are thoroughly enjoying. It’s been a fun and exciting start to the summer!

Noodles, beach balls, inflatable beach toys, leis and mermaid dress up is what the kids are play on the loft.
ART, KNETIC SAND
Here we are making scallop shells and watching our science experiment change daily, the fish grew from a small one inch sea creature to a six fish.

CHAPEL WITH MR. TIM

It is always fun to hear Mr. Tim play the ukulele, sing, and lead us in worship. So far, we’ve had two Bible lessons with him. The first was about Noah, where we learned Psalm 139:1 and sang β€œWherever I Go” and β€œAlways.” The second lesson was about Jonah, focusing on 1 John 5:15, and we sang β€œO the Deep, Deep Sea.” Mr. Tim makes learning about God exciting and joyful through music and stories.

LAST DAYS OF 2025 SCHOOL YEAR

What a Blessed School Year!

God truly showered us with blessings throughout this school year. We learned so much from one another, and as the days went by, our kiddos continued to bless us with joy, laughter, and the sweetest hugs.

Words cannot fully express the love we felt from each of our students and the incredible kindness and support from our parents. Your care made a lasting impact on our classroom community.

We enjoyed so many fun activities together, explored new learning techniques, and built strong language skills. But above all, we grew in love, respect, and connection with each other.

Thank you all for being such a meaningful part of this journey!

News and Reminders 2025

Can you believe we are already in the last month of the school year? Time has flown by since our first week together in August! We have had a wonderful year at preschool, and we are excited about what is still to come in the weeks ahead.

We are excited to invite you to our Open House at the preschool, which will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This is a drop-in event, so feel free to come by at your convenience and bring the whole family. Each classroom is working hard to prepare for our families’ visits, and we look forward to sharing what’s been happening on our campus.

Additionally, this is a great opportunity to explore our elementary campus, which will be hosting its Open House from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., including an Art Show in the school auditorium featuring work from all our preschoolers. We hope to see everyone there!

The first whole week of May is Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week. Our fantastic teachers and staff do a tremendous job, and we look forward to showing them our gratitude.

For May, our Fruit of the Spirit is Goodness. We will explore what occurred after Christ rose from the tomb and how God sent a special helper, the Holy Spirit, to guide us in following Jesus.

We will celebrate the end of the school year with our traditional classroom Pizza Parties. Of course, the preschool will provide pizza, but there will be classroom sign-ups for additional side items such as fruit, paper goods, and table dΓ©cor. The classrooms will share those sign-ups around the middle of May.

The preschool will be closed to celebrate and remember all the brave men and women who have and continue to uphold and defend our nation here in the United States and around the world. Their service and sacrifice are greatly appreciated and deserve profound recognition and unceasing gratitude. Thank you for your service.

We felt that aloha was the perfect sentiment for the last two days of our preschool year. So, hello to summer, goodbye to our year together, and of course, I love you.

We invite all the kids to dress in their brightest, most tropical, and Hawaiian best on Wednesday and Thursday. We will also celebrate the conclusion of our year with special photo opportunities at drop-off and much more.

This year has been amazing! It is a blessing to watch the children grow, and we are excited to celebrate the students who will be moving on to the next phase of their education, whether here at PCS or beyond. Β

This year, we will host our traditional promotion ceremony on the main campus in the auditorium from 6 to 7 p.m. The Room 1 & 2 kiddos have been rehearsing some adorable songs and can hardly wait to share them.

Keep your eyes peeled for your invitation, which will include all the details.

The preschool will be closed to students for cleaning and summer prep. However, the preschool office will be open to answer questions and assist with any summer paperwork that may still need to be completed before camp begins.

Our first session of Fun in the Sun: Deep Sea Discovery! and Kinder Camp will kick off on Monday, June 9th. Summers at the preschool are chock-full of good times and new adventures, and we can hardly wait to get started.

Summer Camp Registration

Will you join this year’s Fun in the Sun or Kinder Camp? If so, please submit your registration forms as soon as possible. Spaces are filling up quickly. Don’t miss your chance to be part of the fun at preschool this summer.

Just a friendly reminder of our Preschool Parking Lot Rules/Requests

  1. Please drive carefully, keeping an eye on speed and kiddos in the lot.
  2. Children should be directed to stay on the sidewalk during pick-up and drop-off except when accessing their vehicles. Little people are very hard to spot between cars.
  3. Our lot’s limited spaces make quick drop-offs and pick-ups ideal.

Thanks for helping us keep our little ones safe, healthy, and happy.

🐣 Easter 🐣

Easter has just passed and we had a lovely time. We started before the actual holiday with our copy of Benjamin’s Box as well as a set of Resurrection Eggs. Using both we went through the events of Palm Sunday to Easter morning and His resurrection.

We also read the story from the Bible and made comparisons.
Each item represents part of the Easter story.

We also had some egg hunts. Here are a few photos of the class quickly finding the eggs!

The class had a lot of fun both finding the eggs and seeing the treats that were inside. We both learned and played! 😊

Easter at PCS: Room 3 Edition

Hello all, and happy belated Resurrection Day/Easter! We had a grand ol’ time in room 3, and the children learned so much about Jesus before, leading up to and after the crucifixion. We know how heavy the subject is, so we balanced it out with some fun art projects (the empty tomb), dancing and singing (Hosanna and Super God), and last but not least, the great hunt of the multi-colored eggs πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‰!

Our little Sherlocks set out on the investigation and came back with a bounty of Easter eggs filled with various toys, stickers, and mini stuffies. Their great search also gave the opportunity for math and counting (directed to find 4 eggs to assure enough eggs per child).

In closing, we just wanted to make sure that you all take pride in the fact that the children at PCS enriched their hearts and minds with God’s love and had fun while doing it.

Take care, and God bless!
