Fizzy Exploding Hearts

Our hearts (and minds) are exploding with fun new learning experiences this week!

The scientists of Room 1 explore chemical reactions with a few substances (baking soda, vinegar, water colors, and of course GLITTER!).

Science experiments are a fun way to make sense of the world around us. We are able to make predictions, develop critical thinking skills, communicate with peers, exercise patience and perseverance, and solve problems.

We also get to show off our fine motor skills that make us the capable little scientists we are. Check out a true pincer grip…

…and now we’re working toward a proper pencil grip!

As you can see, we also enjoy hypothesis testing…
