Room 2 had so much fun with our Apple Pumpkin Day activities we continued today! Let the good times roll!
We put our chef’s hats on to create mini apple turnovers!

Thank you to our Room 2 parent volunteers for bringing all our ingredients!

In small groups today, Room 2 experimented with baking soda and vinegar! We made predictions, used pipettes and were amazed by the chemical reactions!

Today we had a special friend come to read to us. Thank you Mrs. Joy!

In Room 5, we have been singing the song “5 little monkeys jumping on the bed”. But to make sure our littles stay safe we are showing them how to jump on the carpet! 😉

In Room 5 we have been practicing using rhythm sticks at circle time. We are practicing tapping the floor and stacking the sticks. We have also been practicing our fine motor skills by using red pinchers to pick up pompoms and put them in the caterpillar.

In Room 5, we like to play with HUGE bubbles that Mr. Yorlin has made for us! We have been playing in the sand and going down the slide!

What a fun days we had, thanks for being good troopers and bringing your kids in pajamas.

Room 1A & 1B had a fantastic time rolling, catching, and playing with foam pumpkins. They also explored Autumn felt play with apples, pumpkins, and leaves rebuilding Autumn poems and storytelling. Using their tactile senses, they peeled, squeezed, rubbed, and applied apple gels onto picture cards. What fun!
Gourd bingo was a hit and there was a slew of winners! We all win on Apple Pumpkin Days!

And the fun continues. Today was Orange Day and day number two in our Apple Pumpkin Days. The children finished their Fall frames. They met Fred the pumpkin who helped us with our science. He sure made a mess though. We continued our lesson of chemical reaction by making elephant tooth paste inside Fred which was a reaction between yeast and Hydrogen Peroxide and yeast and dishsoap. Today we also had a special guest reader which was Ava’s mommy. The children were looking forward to listening to her read. She read Bad Apple. The children have loved being able to see parents during class. Thank you again to all our wonderful families who helped.
