Pirate Day (Thursday)

Today we had a special reader for Pirate Day. Thank you, Mr. Tim!

Week 4. . . Halfway through

This summer feels like itโ€™s flying by! Week 4 is already done!

Tuesday is always a favorite day! ๐Ÿ˜ With water play and snow cones it is no big surprise why.
We have so much fun playing together. Every day we get to use our imaginations in new and exciting ways!
We watched Bubble Guppies and ate popcorn. ๐Ÿฟ ( some of us wanted a longer movie. . . maybe next time ๐Ÿ˜‰)
The playhouse is still a big crowd pleaser. We have tea parties and luncheons together.
Even in the heat we love running all over!

So far it has been a fun summer and it feels like it is just zipping by. Thank you for all the fun we have had and we look forward to the rest of summer! ๐ŸŒž

1st. SUMMER SESSION OVER

In class we had a fantastic time discovering items that sink and float in our big water sensory table.

Our Pump-and-Splash was an exciting activity to enjoy outside. We had large, medium and small barrels of water to discover their mechanical function. Yes! These barrels can be cranked to the right for a great big splash surprise and other barrels can be pumped up an down to watch the floating ducks move through the pipes. So much fun!๐Ÿ˜„

Water play is always available to keep the children cool in one way or another.

The kids take their sweet time eating those Snow cones.๐Ÿ˜‹

It is so much fun to come into the patio and enjoy all the hands on activities Ms. Kristen has enthusiastically set up for the kids. Hooray! for Ms. Kristen๐Ÿฅฐ

We read short pirate books, decorated our treasure chest and made pirate hats for this week. We also displayed a pirate ship with our kids photos on the window for you to enjoy.

Week 3! So much fun!

Week 3 was such a busy time! We were on the go all week. So many activities. Here are a few pictures of all the things that we did. . .

Water was everywhere and we climbed and played even in the heat. Water breaks were important.
We had an inflatable unicorn and snow cones on Tuesday. Even though itโ€™s been a few weeks we still love it! ๐Ÿ˜„
On Wednesday we went to chapel with Mr. Tim and learned about the baby Moses. We also love the chapel music and we request it in our classroom all the time.
We watched some PJ Masks and a little Bubble Guppies. We ate popcorn and thoroughly enjoyed it!
We have been creating so much art both in the classroom and outside!!
Friday was Hula day and we played with hula hoops and dressed up in leis.
We also made ice cream on Friday and listened to Hawaiian music.

What a busy and fun filled week!

WEEK 4 FUN in the SUN

This week in chapel we read the Bible story โ€œMiriam Cares for Moses,โ€ Exodus 2:1-10.

We had fun decorating the class with surfers and divers in the ocean. The kids were able to identify themselves and other friends. We had loads of fun playing with water, making art and watch short movies in class.

Week 2, What an Adventure!

We have already finished the second week of the summer. There were some snags that required a little creativity but we made it through!

We love the playhouse on the patio! We love being on the patio in general. So many new things to touch and explore.
When our AC went out we spent time in the Art Room. It is where we do Chapel in the summer. We watched Octonauts and cooled off.
We also got to have popsicles! Those were a big hit.
On Thursday we played with the Bike Wash in the yard. Eventually we decided to go through without the bikes.
We played and when it started raining we played in the rain.
So much fun in our classroom once the AC was fixed!
We watched a little Octonauts and a little PJ Masks and had popcorn. Yum! ๐Ÿ˜‹

Thanks for such a great week and we wish all of the Fathers a very happy (and relaxing) Fatherโ€™s Day!
