Binging the Patio Inside for Apple Pumpkin Days!

Room 1A & 1B had a fantastic time rolling, catching, and playing with foam pumpkins. They also explored Autumn felt play with apples, pumpkins, and leaves rebuilding Autumn poems and storytelling. Using their tactile senses, they peeled, squeezed, rubbed, and applied apple gels onto picture cards. What fun!

Gourd bingo was a hit and there was a slew of winners! We all win on Apple Pumpkin Days!

Apple Pumpkin Day #2

And the fun continues. Today was Orange Day and day number two in our Apple Pumpkin Days. The children finished their Fall frames. They met Fred the pumpkin who helped us with our science. He sure made a mess though. We continued our lesson of chemical reaction by making elephant tooth paste inside Fred which was a reaction between yeast and Hydrogen Peroxide and yeast and dishsoap. Today we also had a special guest reader which was Ava’s mommy. The children were looking forward to listening to her read. She read Bad Apple. The children have loved being able to see parents during class. Thank you again to all our wonderful families who helped.

APPLE PUMPKIN DAY TWO

Hello again, here we are Apple Pumpkin day two. We started the morning by exploring the inside of a pumpkin and learning their individual name.

With the “Pumpkin Vine Song ,” the class learned the words and sequence of the song by using our flannel props.

Okay, okay it sounds like a lot but we could not go outside, bad pollution. We had a special morning snack, pumpkin delight, Yummy!!
