A Smashing Good Day!
Happy Apple Pumpkin Day! Our friends in Room 2 had a smashing fun day!
We enjoyed a fun and festive apple graham cracker delight!

Check out some of our beautiful apple and pumpkin themed art!

Today, we dissected a pumpkin together! We explored the seeds and pulp for a sensory experience. We also cut out some shapes to create a jack-o-lantern. We named him Jojo!

Pumpkin pounding was a great way for us to build some fine motor skills!

Oh My Gourdness! We had a blast doing some indoor pumpkin and gourd bowling!

APPLE PUMPKIN DAY ONE
Today we all dressed up in our comfy pajamas, decorated a shiny pumpkin with each child’s photo to take home, used a giant photo mat with our friends pictures to identify each friend. We also explored the inside of a pumpkin as we used our senses to open and smell the pumpkin’s insides, pull the slimy pulp and seeds out and counted them. We read Apple and pumpkin books, sang “Pumpkin Vine,” and indulged in a special “Apple Pie” snack. What a treat!

Apple Pumpkin Day 1
We have had such a great time with our special guest Papa zooming in to read us a Daniel Tiger story! We enjoyed a yummy Apple Pie Cup! We finished off our morning with a dance party! Thank you to all who helped make today special! We are excited for tomorrow!
Falling Leaves and Pleasing Pumpkin Abound in Rm 3!
Room 3 is having a fantastic time exploring the Autumn season with fun filled songs, poems, and books that revolve around the seasons most notable symbols, leaves and squash.

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens…
Ecclesiastes 3:1
The Outdoor Classroom is Squashing it this Fall!
Everywhere you look in our Outdoor Classroom, you can’t deny that the Autumn season is upon us. The children are having a fantastic time exploring all the various squash as well as utilizing fall themed colors in art.

11 Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so.
