Pizza Days
We had an amazing two days of pizza-making with our parent volunteers. We hope you enjoy these pictures as much as they enjoyed the pizzas! They also made Little Red Hens in honor of The Little Red Hen story that Ms. Gwen so graciously read to us! Super fun and busy days! Stay tuned for October’s blog!
APPLES GALORE
The kids so much fun doing so many different activities with all the Apple you all provided this week. Thank you for your collaboration. Have a look at all the educational and fun projects we did so far.
Apple arts and craft
So many apples, what can we do? We can count, do a flannel story and more…
Next week we will be cooking a simple but delicious apple dumpling with our parents help and all the apples that were brought into our class.
Art on Older Pod Patio

In the month of September we emphasize the concept of lines. On older pod patio, we’ve been exploring lines through line collage art, negative space painting, golf ball painting and more!

Even clean up is fun! Check out our Room 1 friends as they work together to clean up colorful paint splatter around the art easel.

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10
Small Groups
We have officially started small groups! Last week we picked out our group names. This week we are focusing on the letter A and things that start with A like apples. Right now we are getting used to gathering in our groups and we are learning which teacher leads each small group. So here they are!

Small Groups happen every day except for Wednesday and we are having a lot of fun learning new things. We look forward to a year of learning and exploring together.
SEPTEMBER TO REMEMBER
What amazing kids we have in class, they can recap our Bible story Creations. We ask them questions such as, What did God put on the sky for night time? Or for day time? We also ask them, What kind of animals did God created for the ocean? Or animals that can crawl, creek or slider? They can excitedly give the correct answers.
Fall is near and we are reading some awesome Apple Books. We will be doing art, simple cooking with our two year olds, math and science with all different kids of apples.
Older Pod Patio
The enrichment patio is an extension of our classrooms and it provides many of the benefits of the outdoor classroom. In the patio, we’re able to move our bodies, raise our voices, get messy and explore! Our friends in older pod have been hard at work, doing what they do best—PLAYING!
Check out some highlights of our play-based curriculum and your kiddos in action on the older pod patio!
One Week Down!
Last Wednesday was the start of a brand new school year! It has now been officially one week and we are enjoying getting to know all of the children in the classroom.
In the morning the friends are greeted by Ms. Sheri and Mr. Yorlin and they get to play in the classroom until about 8:30 when everyone takes a trip to the potty before hitting the yard.

After our second time in the yard we come in our classroom and relax on the rug for a moment with a story before we get to play again until it’s time to go home. Another successful day complete.
We are so grateful for a new school year and a chance to be a part of each and every child’s growth and development. We look forward to year filled with exploration and adventure.
Welcome to a New School Year! 2021-22

The Last Day
The last day of summer came so quickly and while we thought we knew it was coming we weren’t emotionally ready to say goodbye.

Thank you all for a great summer and even though we didn’t get to go on field trips we still had so much fun with each other! We wish all of our students a fun and relaxing break and a fantastic start to the new school year! We love you all.
