Farm Day!

We have had so much fun on Farm Day! Room 3 has been anticipating this day all week.

We watched other classes play with the animals and we sang Old McDonald had a farm while we waited for our turn.

We got to pet goats and ducks and even a horse!

Blondie was a very big horse and we got to feed him!

We watched the ducks drink water!

We had so much fun with the animals that we asked about them even after nap!

We also had fun just running around and playing “The Floor is Lava” on both the structure and in the sandbox.

We had so much fun on farm day and we look forward to Day 2!

OUR PUMPKIN PATCH

We had a blast at our indoor pumpkin patch, the kids explored different size, texture, shape and color pumpkins.

Stop the Bites

Vector Control recently visited our site as well as the surrounding houses/apartment buildings. While they didn’t find any breading hot spots, that doesn’t mean that mosquitoes don’t continue to be a nuisance and issue for many of us. Chapel – November 2020

November is full of so many things from autumn leaves, squash, farm fun, concepts of gratitude/thankfulness as well as times spent with family and loved ones. It is the family theme that inspires this months Bible focus on Noah’s Ark. Noah’s Ark is the prefect story for preschool to discuss the concepts of talking/listening to God, family, and of course animals. The children had a wonderful time singing “Rise & Shine” and “This is the Day” along with reading from our children’s rhyming Bible.

It’s a Brand New Month!

Huzzah to November! We are kicking off the month with lots of fun outside time! We have really enjoyed the wagons on the yard.

We have had so much fun in the sandbox and Mr. Yorlin has made really big bubbles!

Mr. Tim has been a special visitor and he read us a story and played his ukulele. We love singing with Mr. Tim.

We’ve been building and reading and playing all together!

We love helping Mr. Tim push the hot lunch cart down the hallway.

It’s only been 4 days but November has been a blast so far. We are looking forward to the rest of this fun month!

Stipple Fall Tree Painting

Learning all about the stipple technique in painting and creating a beautiful multicolored fall tree with greens, yellow, orange and brown. I love how different they each turned out. -Ms. Monica, Preschool Art Teacher

Outdoor fun!

We have been enjoying being outside with the better air quality and nice weather! God is good and we are so thankful for our beautiful outdoor space!

Stories and Dancing!

We have some favorite times in Room 5 which include dancing and reading.

Our littles like to dance to most any song but the most requested songs are “Freeze Dance” and “Baby Shark”!

Room 5 Adventures

Hello all! We have been having quite the adventures in Room 5 with our littles.

Our littles love to paint! They also love to run around barefoot! So we decided to put the two together and they helped us make our foot print art! This has been such a great sensory experience for them and we are looking forward to more adventures! 😉
